Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sound Designer to join their game development team and shape the audio identity of engaging slot games. You'll create compelling sound effects, music, and immersive audio experiences that elevate gameplay, reinforce visual storytelling, and maximise player engagement.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality sound effects for UI, symbols, gameplay interactions, animations, and win sequences, from base spins to Big Win and Mega Win events.
  • Compose original music, ambient tracks, and seamless audio loops for a wide range of slot themes.
  • Design immersive audio landscapes that enhance gameplay, excitement, and player engagement.
  • Integrate and fine-tune audio assets within game engines (Unity, Cocos2d, or proprietary tools).
  • Optimise audio assets for mobile platforms, balancing quality, performance, and file size.
  • Iterate on audio implementation based on internal feedback and production requirements while meeting project deadlines.
  • Contribute to defining and maintaining the overall audio quality and style across projects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of commercial experience as a Sound Designer, preferably in Game Development or iGaming.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating sound design for games, ideally including slot games, casino mechanics, or mobile titles.
  • Proficiency with professional DAWs such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, or Reaper.
  • Strong understanding of sound synthesis, mixing, mastering, and audio production workflows.
  • Familiarity with slot game mechanics and the audio requirements of gameplay events, including spins, bonus features, Free Spins, Big Win, and Mega Win sequences.
  • Experience implementing audio in Unity, Cocos2d, or similar game engines.
  • Understanding of audio optimisation techniques for mobile platforms.
