Primary Care Physician
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Primary Care Physician to deliver exceptional virtual primary care services to patients across the United States. As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive virtual care through video and text-based consultations, helping patients manage both primary care and urgent care needs. You will play an integral role in improving access to healthcare, enhancing the patient experience, and contributing to the ongoing development of technology-driven healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered virtual primary care through secure video and text-based telehealth platforms.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of primary care and urgent care medical conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and coordinate ongoing patient care.
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
- Provide preventive care, chronic disease management, and health education.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other members of the care team.
- Utilize telemedicine technology to deliver efficient, accessible, and compassionate patient care.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve clinical workflows and support healthcare technology innovation.
- Contribute clinical expertise to initiatives that enhance patient engagement and healthcare delivery.
- Support clinical education and marketing initiatives when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.
- Deliver exceptional patient service with professionalism, empathy, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Active medical license in at least one IMLC Compact State (required).
- Additional state medical licenses or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of outpatient clinical practice experience as a Primary Care Physician.
- Strong experience managing both primary care and urgent care conditions.
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM 6:00 PM PT.
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient management skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and virtual patient engagement skills.
- High level of comfort using telemedicine platforms and healthcare technology.
- Exceptional customer service, telephone, and written communication etiquette.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.
