Job Description

Concrete Polisher

Location: Norfolk, VA (On‑Site)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8–10 hour shifts

Overtime: Up to 15 hours weekly (some night work required)

Type: Contract‑to‑Hire

Pay Rate: $18–$27/hr

We are seeking multiple Concrete Polishers to support cutting, polishing, repair, and drilling tasks on a wide variety of concrete projects. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work and want to grow their skills within a hands‑on construction environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform core drilling into set concrete.
  • Polish concrete surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.
  • Remove concrete to prepare areas for pipe or conduit installation.
  • Conduct flat sawing to cut concrete or create decorative/functional patterns.
  • Support concrete repair, joint sealing, and general surface preparation tasks.
  • Operate hand and power tools, grinders, polishers, and related equipment.
  • Perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.

What You Bring

  • Experience in concrete work, construction, or similar trades.
  • Skill in polishing, sawing, core drilling, joint sealing, or concrete repair .
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and cutting/grinding equipment.
  • Comfort with lifting heavy materials and working outdoors for long periods.
  • At least 2 years of experience preferred (not required).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
