Job Description

Place Services has an immediate need in our Canton, GA headquarters, for a results driven, experienced and strategic Treasury & Balance Sheet Manager who will be responsible for overseeing daily cash management activities, preparing accurate cash forecasts, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring the integrity of balance sheet accounts. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding company assets, maximizing cash utilization, and supporting month-end close activities.

What You’ll Do:

Treasury Management

• Prepare and distribute daily cash reports to leadership
• Monitor daily cash positions across all bank accounts
• Reconcile multiple cash accounts weekly
• Develop and maintain reliable short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
• Analyze cash trends and variances; identify risks and opportunities
• Recommend actions to maximize cash utilization, improve liquidity, and reduce borrowing costs
• Coordinate bank transfers, funding requirements, and investment activities as needed
• Support banking relationships and ensure compliance with treasury policies

Balance Sheet Management

• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts accurately and timely
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items and discrepancies
• Ensure proper documentation and support for all balance sheet accounts
• Participate in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reporting requirements
• Assist with audit requests and maintain compliance with internal controls

What You Bring:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or accounting
• Construction Accounting experience is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of cash forecasting, liquidity management, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills: experience with ERP systems preferred. Data modeling capabilities are preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to leadership
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
