Duration: 18 Months Contract

Pay Rate: $25.00-$27.50/ Hr on W2

Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Position may perform any or all of the following tasks as assigned:
Systems Knowledge
• Issue purchase orders based on MRP system recommendations and demand requirements
• Request changes to purchase order dates from suppliers based on demand fluctuations
• Update MRP system to ensure accurate visibility of expected inventory
• Monitor open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery
• Issue purchase orders to support engineering or product changes
Customer Management
• Provide regular updates on business status and direction as required
• Communicate supply issues to internal stakeholders and drive resolution
• Coordinate changes between internal teams and suppliers
Supplier Management
• Update purchase orders as needed
• Manage suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and product availability
• Review and challenge supplier price increase requests; escalate when necessary
• Act as a single point of contact for supplier-related change tracking and prioritization
• Ensure suppliers adhere to shipment schedules
EXPERIENCE AND NECESSARY SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Strong planning and organizational abilities
• 0+ years of procurement or related experience
• Preferred skills: MRP systems, purchasing processes, and supplier management
