Physician Assistant – Cardiac Electrophysiology

Join a dynamic and highly specialized Cardiac Electrophysiology team where you will play a critical role in delivering advanced, patient-centered care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with exercise stress testing and tilt table testing
• Support electrophysiologic studies in the EP lab and OR, including:
• Insertion of temporary pacing catheters
• Intracardiac mapping and interpretation of study recordings
• Conduct initial and follow-up history and physical examinations for arrhythmia evaluations, including EKG interpretation and carotid sinus massage
• Evaluate and manage pacemaker and ICD patients , including post-operative wound assessments
• Collaborate with cardiology fellows, including providing orientation to electrophysiologic procedures
• Participate in clinical research protocols , including patient recruitment and ongoing care

Additional Information:

• Coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings as needed
• Travel between sites may be required based on operational needs

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current New York State PA license
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• EP Lab or Cardiology experience preferred

Location: Bronx, NY

Work hours: 7:30 AM-6:00 PM. Workdays may vary.

Base Starting Salary: $ $149,215.00 plus experience differential if applicable.
