About Us

We are launching an exciting new modern Mexican concept that blends traditional Mexican culinary foundations with contemporary techniques, bold flavors, and a chef‑driven approach. Our focus is on ingredient integrity, seasonal menus, and a vibrant dining experience that honors Mexican heritage through a modern lens. We are seeking a visionary Head Chef to lead our kitchen, develop the culinary identity, and help shape the future of the brand.

Position Overview

The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, building and leading a high-performance kitchen team, developing creative menus, and upholding exceptional food quality and consistency. This role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of Mexican cuisine, impeccable execution, and the ability to run an efficient, organized, and cost‑effective kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create and refine seasonal menus reflecting modern Mexican flavors and techniques; develop specials and tasting menus as needed.
  • Culinary Execution: Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and timeliness across all services.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff; foster a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen operations including prep, service, sanitation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Cost Management: Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain all DOH standards, cleanliness protocols, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with ownership and FOH leadership on concept development, menu rollouts, and guest experience initiatives.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on culinary trends and Mexican regional cuisines, integrating modern techniques while respecting tradition.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of culinary leadership experience; prior Executive Chef or Head Chef role strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in Mexican cuisine—traditional foundations and modern interpretations.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience building and developing teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
  • Experience with inventory management, food costing, and vendor negotiation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Passion for creativity, innovation, and delivering memorable dining experiences.
