Dispatcher
Location: On-Site – Perris, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Pay Rate: $25 to $28
Overview:
Our client in the City of Commerce is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Dispatcher to join their on-site operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating daily routes, communicating with drivers, managing schedules, and ensuring accurate, timely flow of information to support smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispatch drivers according to route plans, schedules, and customer needs
• Monitor real-time movement of drivers and update logs accordingly
• Communicate route changes, delays, and instructions to drivers
• Review and maintain accurate delivery, pick-up, and service documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues that impact schedules
• Track and report on delivery performance metrics
• Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols
Qualifications:
• Previous dispatching experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or a related environment
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
• Proficiency with dispatching software and basic computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work fully on-site in the City of Commerce
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with route optimization
• Knowledge of local and regional transportation regulations
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (not required)
