This position will partner with the CFO and Executive Team to share operational oversight of Sunbeam’s fiscal management, including financial reporting, grant management, budget performance, and forecasting. The Controller will lead and develop a strong internal team to support Sunbeam’s finance and accounting initiatives. This position works closely with the CFO to align financial operations and planning, policies, and accounting practices with Sunbeam’s strategic organizational plans.

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field
Experience
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
5+ years in nonprofit/exempt organizations with complex funding structures

Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and state required vehicle insurance for any vehicle used in performance of job duties
Working knowledge and understanding of uniform guidance as it relates to allowed and unallowed costs
Experience in grants management (compliance and reporting)
Knowledge and understanding of early childhood education programs
Experience selecting and overseeing accounting or other software implementations
Experience with Sage Intacct software
Advanced Microsoft application knowledge

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently communicate with staff and others, and must be able to exchange accurate information when doing so. Work Environment
The employee will work in an office environment, in close quarters with other staff. The noise level in the work environment varies from moderate to loud; occasional disruptions may occur.
