A bachelors degree or graduate degree from an accredited college or university and at least one year of experience working with the target population including experience in the OIDD service delivery system.
Knowledge of interagency case management principles and practices. Familiar with the populations served by OIDD (individuals with intellectual disabilities related disabilities brain injury spinal cord injury and similar disabilities) as well as available services/supports. Knowledge of Medicaid State Plan and OIDD operated Home and Community-Based (HCB) Waiver services. Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively. Computer literacy including the ability to use standard office software and electronic documentation systems. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion as well as establish and maintain effective working relationships.
