Job Description

As an Assistant Virtual Design Manager, you’ll support our Virtual Design Manager in daily operations and help implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies across multiple projects. This role provides hands-on experience with BIM coordination, drawing review, and the integration of virtual design tools into both office and field workflows.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering or architectural experience .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Excel, and Bluebeam .
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across projects.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Collaborative team player who can represent CBG in a professional and positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team.
• Run BIM MEPS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural) coordination and clash detection for internal projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to draft coordination details using AutoCAD.
• Review drawings for constructability and accuracy.
• Support and train employees in BIM tools and best practices for field and office integration.
